The details of the upcoming Destination Food conference have been released this week with Destination Food, Australia’s first culinary tourism conference, taking place at the Museum of Sydney on Monday 21 May 2018.

Throughout the day, delegates will hear from local and international speakers focusing on the many facets of culinary tourism. Panels and presentations will showcase case studies and practical learnings so delegates will leave with ideas and tools to implement into their destinations and businesses. Topics such as ‘Agri-tourism: Shaping food tourism’ and ‘How to pitch your food tourism story to media’, plus case studies including ‘Eat Local: How a Cookbook Boosted Food Tourism in Regional Queensland’ will be presented.

Along with notable speakers such as Joanna Savill, Stuart Gregor and M.C. Simon Marnie from ABC Radio, delegates will spend the day networking and learning from each other.

One of the key sponsors supporting this conference is Food4Media. Food4Media are the Culinary Industry’s Media Network and the world’s leading online food and beverage news service for the media. Launched in early 2005, Food4Media distributes industry related press releases, videos and multimedia content to a vetted community of food and lifestyle media.

The event is also supported by TFE Hotels who have generously extended a special rate to all Destination Food conference delegates (details on event website). TFE will accommodate many of the interstate and international speakers at their Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour property.

Full program, speaker and sponsor list to be released early February, with limited early bird tickets available now. More details and tickets can be found at
