Stuart Gregor is Co-founder Four Pillars Gin and Creative Chair at Liquid Ideas. He is an engaging communicator on all matters of PR and marketing and also has a lengthy background in food, wine, hospitality and travel.

A former panelist on ABC’s Gruen, Stu has a Masters in Marketing from the Melbourne Business School, a Diploma in Wine Marketing from Adelaide University and is a Graduate of the AICD. He is a director of food rescue organization, OzHarvest.

Stu’s presentation will focus largely on learnings from Four Pillars, a small distillery in the Yarra Valley, established in 2013.

Stuart’s background is journalism, small business, booze and communications – having written multiple wine guides, founded and run Australia’s leading lifestyle public relation business (www.liquidideas.com.au) and worked closely with a couple of Australia’s most innovative and disruptive not-for-profit start-ups – RUOK? Day and OzHarvest.

In the world of public relations, he was the inaugural Chair of the Public Relations Council (2012-2014) and the Comms Con PR industry Leader of the Year in 2014. Liquid Ideas has also won multiple awards and widespread recognition for its always engaging campaigns for clients as diverse as Singapore Airlines, Victoria Bitter and Rexona. From November 2017 Stuart has assumed the role as Creative Chair at Liquid Ideas as he focusses more of his efforts on gin making, selling and drinking.

Stuart is a father of two, based in Sydney, plays bad golf and follows every code of sport – the Wallabies,  Sydney Swans and Roosters with most passion, followed by Manchester United, the Denver Broncos and really slow horses, some of which he used to own . . . .

He has a Diploma of Wine Marketing (Adelaide), a Masters of Marketing (Melbourne) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He sits on the board of Australia’s leading food waste organisation Oz Harvest and is a co-director of luxury travel firm Gregor & Lewis, which he co-owns with his sister, Melinda.
